Six places, and none of them are near spawn

Rare eggs do not appear in the middle of the map where everyone is standing. The whole endgame is knowing a short list of areas well enough to check them in order — and then getting home before the timer kills the egg.

    Secret area behind the waterfall

    Walk behind the fall and into the hidden section. Check the raised platforms on both sides and look behind the crystals — Solaris is easy to miss in there because of the effects.

    The giant tree

    The one landmark you cannot miss, and the one players check wrong: rare eggs sit on the upper branches. Ground level is a waste of a run.

  3. 03

    Desert pyramid and the hidden lake

    Go inside the pyramid and search the interior — deep spawns are the worst case, because you still have to carry the egg back out. If Solaris is not there, jump into the lake for the hidden section and work the maze.

    Map outskirts and rocky edges

    Rare eggs favour the distant parts of the map over the middle where everyone stands. Work the perimeter and the rock formations that look inconvenient to reach — that inconvenience is the point.

    Mountains and cliff faces

    Cherub leans harder into the big mountains and outer rocky sections than any other egg. Grey Mountain also hides a route up the stream from the waterfall.

    Lower mine section

    A second way into the hidden lower part of the map, instead of always going in through the waterfall. Eggs spawn down there too.

Routes by egg

Blackhole and Cherub share most of their list, so one route covers both. Solaris has its own turns inside the same areas, and Volcanic is somewhere else entirely.

Before you run

  1. Check the index first. It reports how many of each egg are on the map. A zero means no route will find anything.
  2. Bring the fast mount. Finding the egg is half the run; carrying it home is the other half, and it is timed.
  3. Watch the announcement. Rare spawns are broadcast, which means the moment it appears, other players know too.
