Storms are the cheapest speed in the game
A mutation multiplies whatever your pet already has, up to x12.5. That is often a bigger jump than the next egg tier — and unlike a rarer pet, it costs you waiting for weather instead of a race across the map.
x12.5
best published multiplier — Eternal, above Magma at x10.
Shocked
x2Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
Volted
x3Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
Rage
x4Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
Void
x7Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
Magma
x10Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
Eternal
x12.5Applies to speed and money while the pet is out. Weather-linked.
The one published method
Magma: one dip per egg
每颗蛋只能尝试一次:把蛋浸入火山,15% 成功率,成功对应 +8 秒
That 15% is the only mutation rate the game publishes anywhere. Every other mutation shows up with weather and is not tied to a stated chance, so treat any number you see quoted for them as a measurement, not a fact.
Why it matters
x12.5 beats a bigger pet
- A Horse at 5.34K base speed becomes 67K under an Eternal mutation — faster than Dragon at base speed.
- Mutations stack on base speed, not the other way around, so applying one early is never wasted.
- Weather is announced in-game with a countdown, which is why waiting out a storm before a rare-egg run is standard play.
Note: the exact interaction between a mutation, a food buff and a rebirth multiplier is not published by the game. The multiplication above is base speed only.
